IT'S
TIME TO REGULATE THE "MILITIA" — I'm ready for the insanity of the
ASSAULT weapons to be over. NPR reported that a gun show (code for "no
background checks necessary", and "let's get the guns before the
liberals and blacks take over") in San Francisco drew three times the
crowd it did last year. The line just to get into the show was backed up
for six blocks. There are a lot of scared people in
this land, thanks to the merchants of death at the NRA and their
puppets in Congress.
Sometime this week our president, acting upon
research by Vice President Joe Biden, will announce sweeping changes to
existing gun laws that have seen half of all gun massacres occur since
the lifting of the assault weapons ban in 2005. The Republicans are
solidly siding with the NRA because they have no guts and they are
whores for the capitalist with the highest bribe.

and Gabby Giffords, I am a gun owner with sense. But things have gone
way too far. As President Clinton declared, "this is just nuts!" We the
people have to pressure our legislators who, it appears, are ready to
put the purchases of paramilitary weapons ahead of the life and safety
of our children. We must convince them the 2nd Amendment calls first and
foremost for "a WELL REGULATED militia." It's time to regulate and to
do it WELL!

I'd be okay with your views but I do expect you to take the time to tell readers WHY you believe what you do!
I don't see Obama as a tyrant, a dictator. He explains everything, he's very open in his views. America, because of its 3 branches of government, is a very hard place to establish a dictatorship. Presidents can talk a lot but Congress passes the laws. As our Constitution dictated.
We'll have to wait and see what his executive orders are about guns and see how they might cause a Constitutional crisis, if they do.
If he's only demanding the government actually ENFORCE laws congress passed and he signed, well that's not really a dictatorship, is it? I mean, REALLY?
I think the guy's responding to the horror Americans feel about six year olds being murdered in their classroom by some nutcase kid who swiped his mom's assault weapons. What would you EXPECT him to do?
We have to take assault weapons away from crazy kids like that. What would YOU DO? Don't harrass the President. His Americans want him to do something so it doesn't happen again.
So what would YOU propose, smart guy?
Impeachment, removal from office, prosecution, imprisonment and/or execution.
