Democrat Claire McKaskill wins the lottery when her crazy Republican opponent reveals his INSANITY. And Yoder humiliated nationally, naked swimming in Jesus' Holyland

(Should the big billionaire donors stop trying to kill off McCaskill with their TV ads in Missouri , because her opponent is so nuts?)

ST. LOUIS (AP) – Missouri Congressman Todd Akin, the conservative Republican U.S. Senate candidate, said in a television interview that it is "really rare" for women to become pregnant.

Rep. Todd Akin, who has said he opposes all abortions, said in the interview if a woman is raped, her body "has ways to shut that whole thing down."

Akin, a six-term congressman running against incumbent Democrat Sen. Claire McCaskill, was asked in an interview that aired Sunday on St. Louis television station KTVI if there were any circumstances in which he would support a woman's decision to have an abortion.
Akin, who has said he's Missouri's most conservative congressman, indicated there may be an exception to his stance against abortion. But, when asked if he supported abortions for women who have been raped, Akin said: "It seems to me first of all from what I understand from doctors that's really rare."
"If it's a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down," Akin said of a rape victim's chances of becoming pregnant.

Atten Women and gay men:  SEXY bodies....Young, buff politicos like Ryan, Weiner, Yoder, show us what they've got!

Yoder humiliated nationally!  Admits it.
A little NAKED SWIMMING in Jesus' Sea of Galilee, Kevin Yoder of Kansas?     "Oh my Goodness, Oh my goodness!"

POLITICO, in an exclusive story Sunday, says the FBI investigated a trip to the Mideast involving several members of Congress, including U.S. Rep. Kevin Yoder -- a trip that involved a late-night dip into the Sea of Galilee "without a swimsuit" for the Kansas Republican.
From the story:

“A year ago, my wife, Brooke, and I joined colleagues for dinner at the Sea of Galilee in Israel. After dinner I followed some Members of Congress in a spontaneous and very brief dive into the sea and regrettably I jumped into the water without a swimsuit,” Yoder said in a statement to POLITICO. “It is my greatest honor to represent the people of Kansas in Congress and [for] any embarrassment I have caused for my colleagues and constituents, I apologize.”

KC Star's best writers say the problem is about lack of "Compromise"  IS IT?
As the nation hurtles toward the 2012 election, compromise remains a dirty word, voices of moderation have all but been drowned out, and America is critically divided, a country without a middle ground.

As a result, experts agree: Our politics are polarized to a degree unmatched since the end of the Civil War. In some states Democrats dominate. In the Great Plains, the GOP controls most of the levers of power.

Helling/Kraske's written a good article about how political parties don't compromise.  Read it.

RADIOMAN KC REPLIES:  This all makes good sense; it's logical and well argued. And accurate.   It does not get to the real issue though.   It's not about failure to compromise.

Instead, the moneyed interests in this country have hijacked themselves a political party that rolled over for them.... and they also bought themselves some political national radio and a cable news network to do their propaganda...even tho their agenda is not in the best interest of their followers.

It's really now about the libertarian billionaires, their new media, their bribed Congressmen. and their sheep.   Versus everyone else.

If Romney wins the day in November, we will see this "vulture capitalist" disassemble the government just like he did the desperate companies that let him take them under.

And today's Republican middle class followers have been convinced that's a good idea, to gut government.  Boy, will they be mad when they find out they've been snookered and the Republicans walk away with their money, just like Mitt Romney did at Bain.
