Tens of thousands of protesters marched in Mexico City on Saturday to
protest against Enrique Peña Nieto's apparent win in the country's
presidential election, accusing his party of buying votes and paying TV
networks for support.
Demonstrators were angered by allegations
that Peña Nieto's Institutional Revolutionary party (PRI) gave out
groceries, pre-paid gift cards and other goods to voters before the
national elections on 1 July.
Students, unionists and leftists in
Mexico City carried signs reading: "Peña, how much did it cost to
become president?" and "Mexico, you pawned your future for 500 pesos."
Officials estimated about 50,000 demonstrators gathered at the central Zocalo plaza.

Doesn't this sound familiar? Replace groceries with entitlements. And the media, will that one is the same. And this outrages you? Open your eyes a little wider and view the entire landscape and you will see this same thing is being done by my party and your president! Just saying
I think anybody with that view hasn't been paying much attention to the entire landscape himself. Your party is NOT the party of your father's. His was Reagan's...who would be a democrat today.
Your party's been hijacked by the Koch Brothers, the avowed Libertarian billionaires. I expect independents will have a better perspective and will vote the radicals of the right out of office.
Your friends want to turn this into a country like Mexico... a land of very few, very rich, and the rest are peons scraping along.
Very short sighted...because if you don't make a decent living, you don't supply the DEMAND required to help business. This isn't rocket science, but you do need to keep your eyes wide open and pay attention to what the economists are saying.
Not the party shillers, but those who have some concept of US economic history.
And you need to understand that health care can't take 18 percent of your money and have you be a consumer so that everyone makes some money. Rich don't create jobs. Middle class does...they are the spenders.
Rich people just collect money...and like Romney, stash it offshore. Think of it like them forcing you to give blood once a month....you get weaker and weaker. They're screwing the pooch...turning their former customers into peons who shop only at Walmart buying overseas goods because that's all they can afford.
My fathers party was in the DRD so your point is invalid! Who took over the DNC?
I've been paying attention to politics since 1960... and I am not familiar with "DRD". IN fact, I couldn't find its reference as "DRD" or "DRD party" on Google.
So I'm not sure what you call invalid, other than your'e just being argumentative. My blog's comments don't charge you by the WORD, so feel free to be more explanatory.
