Republican Media keeps pissing off women!

Wash Times CROUSE: Violence Against Women Act needs reform

The Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) is up for authorization again this year. This newest version of VAWA -- loaded up with even more leftist provisions -- has hit a snag. First signed into law in 1994 with bipartisan support and reauthorized in 2000 and 2006, the legislation has become both a failure and a boondoggle, lining the pockets of feminist groups, vastly expanding federal, state and local bureaucracies, and becoming riddled with fraud.   More...http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/jul/24/violence-against-women-act-needs-reform/

Radioman's Rant to the Washington Times about cutting back on Women's Protection:

GOP media: always appealing to their base!

Such a right leaning rant from a right leaning newspaper!  And from a woman named Janice, too!  There are plenty of places to fight against waste, fraud, and abuse in this world...with way bigger money than women's issues about family or other violence towards women.

The Defense Department's procurement system is the classic hideaway to start looking for waste, fraud and abuse.

And I'm sure there's graft even in the highway programs, and big corporations getting unintended help money from the Dept of Ag.   And Colorado grad students using federal dollars to buy a cache of weapons.

Wouldn't surprise me if most of America's most wealthy got their billions from government, one way or the other.  Now ya all want to go after the little people, the only money not already taken by the wealthy.   But go ahead and take money to protect women and children..and see how that does for you this fall.   I think they're pretty p.o.'ed at the Republican party, even on state levels.

Did you see what happened this week in SC where the Republican governor Nikki Haley's cuts to women's shelters and such was overturned by the legislature, virtually unanimously?

The proper role of American Government that we Americans have already defined!

Fact is, Americans want a certain element of government service, above plane and shipbuilding and standing armies.  What happened to my dad's Republican party?  The party of Reagan?    A prudent, common sense party dedicated to making government work for its people, including women ravaged by criminals , rather than trying to eliminate it?  And a safety net.   The middle class, the majority of Americans, need to vote the libertarians OUT by saying NO this fall to the Republicans too scared to be themselves!    And maybe the GOP will be able to rid itself ONLY THEN of their hijackers from the far right.
