Market TANKS... Down over 500. Meanwhile, FAA back to work, for now

Big selloff on Wallstreet today...again.  The NYSE closing bell sees the market down 4 percent on the day, worst 9 days in two years. Dow closes down 512.6 at 11,388, losing all gains over the past YEAR!.  Western Europe may be worse off this week as investors shed risk.  Investors see the US economy as stagnate.

Congressional leaders have reached "a bipartisan compromise between the House and the Senate" to fully fund the Federal Aviation Administration, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid says.
The deal will "put 74,000 transportation and construction workers back to work," Reid says.
"This agreement does not resolve the important differences that still remain," Reid said in a written statement. "But I believe we should keep Americans working while Congress settles its differences."

President Obama turns 50 today. The First Lady sent a message to supporters this morning asking folks to sign a birthday card for him and let him know why you're a part of this campaign.

Every day, I see Barack make choices he knows will affect every American family. That's no small task for anyone—and more proof that he's earning every last one of those gray hairs.
