9pm kid curfew, very very stiff fines to parents!

City Council Passes 9pm kid curfew for all entertainment districts and a citywide summer curfew later

From TKC:  2 parts of the ordinance . . .

Citywide ordinance . . . Under age of 16 in summer months the curfew is 10pm. 16 age and up to 18 during summer months curfew is 11pm. The remainder of the year.

2nd part . . . The Entertainment Districts: Plaza, Westport, Zona Rosa, 18th and Vine and the Central biz district i.e. Downtown . . . 9pm for anybody under the age of 18.

The fine . . Currently $1 fine is raised to a maximum of $500 for parents for each offense.  Penalty will only be assessed to parents.

The fine's pretty stiff!   KMBC9's Michael Mahoney reported that there would be exceptions, including school events, city-sanctioned events, if teens are with their parents or if they work in those designated areas.

Canadian Buses for Bonzo

Obama's been catching serious heat because the two buses bought by the Secret Service were either made or configured in Canada.  Faux Nudes is all over it.  The Houston Chronicle reported both of BUSH's BUSES were bought from the same Canadian company.  Ma-hahahahahahahahahaha!

What about KMBZ AM 980?
I noticed the KMBZ PROMO HAS CHANGED. No longer "KMBZ 980 and now 98.1 FM" and now it's just "KMBZ 98.1 FM". So what will Entercom do with it's AM RADIO FREQUENCY? Go Mexican? Is it sold or for sale?  What? I know I no longer listen to AM RADIO at all, now that KMBZ has moved to FM.
