RAYTOWN, Missouri - One person is taken to the hospital after a fire truck collides with three cars including a Battalion Chief's SUV Monday morning.

The fire truck was headed to a house fire at the 8800 block of Lane Avenue just after 8:45 a.m., when it wrecked into 3 vehicles at the 8700 block of James A. Reed Road in Raytown.

One person was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.  No one else was hurt in the accident.

Notice not a single attribution, other than the reporter's own byline?     And notice what an anonymouse comments on TKC:

Pretty big discrepancy for such a simple story...a huge pumper didn't cause the accident?  How could such a careless assumption get on the air?  Let's see if they print a correction.  And will the reporter be suspended for such a blatant failure to report correct facts?  Or should Tony quit running anonymice comments?
